Beaches

There are lifeguards present in Ekvalla, Ispoinen, and Saaronniemi beaches during schools' summer vacation (5th Jun - 10th Aug 2020) every day between 11.00 and 18.00 (lifeguards have a lunch break from 13.30 to 14.00).

There are also public beaches in the outdoor recreation islands of Maisaari, Pähkinäinen and Vepsä, as well as on the Pyhäjärvi beach in Kalikka.
Brinkhall and Maaria beaches are freshwater beaches.

In Saaronniemi there is a beach where dogs are allowed.
